Objetivo
O programa Eco- Escolas Abae FEE Portugal é um projeto de cidadania ativa. Visa desenvolver as competências pessoais e sociais, promover a cooperação e inclusão incidindo nos domínios da educação ambiental ,da sustentabilidade seguindo o princípio da agenda 21,“ Pensar globalmente, agir localmente.” Visa atingir os seguintes objetivos: Sensibilizar os alunos para a defesa do Ambiente (combatendo todo tipo de poluição) e preservação da natureza (ecossistemas, dos recursos naturais e biodiversidade) assim como para a participação nas ações da regeneração do Ambiente e salvaguarda do património; Valorizar os princípios de sustentabilidade, assegurando o presente e salvaguardando o futuro, nos temas da Energia, da Água e dos recursos vitais; Estimular o uso das energias renováveis enquanto cidadãos ativos.

“On November 10th , the headmaster, Mr Paulo Pimentel, presents for the eighth consecutive year, the Eco-schools ABAE / FEE Portugal green flag as an honour and a reward for the sustainability goals achieved in 2016/2017 and for the environmental education work of the school community that have enrolled in the Eco-School programme.
This session takes place in the auditorium with the presence of the project coordinator, Mrs Rute Rebelo, the eco group students, the eco-vigilant students, the eco club members, all class delegates, the eco-school council, teachers, many other elements of school community and the education councilor.
The AE Águeda headmaster refers to the importance of the award as a certification and an educational value and said that it’s a huge responsibility maintaining it as the goal of the education project of AE Águeda. The education councilor also recognized the work and highlighted the involvement of all those who have contributed to make school and local community more sustainable.
The session ends with the giving of the Green Flag award. Our school can fly the green flag throughout this year again. This symbolic moment was also part of the global action called “Global Action Days” aimed at raising awareness of the issues Water.”
